The big data technique has been in trend for the process safety assessment. In china, it’s the very need to transfer the qualitative safety management to quantitative safety management, which should rely on the professional risk analysis technique, as well as the standard safety reliability database. Based on the above, it’s very important to integrate several professional risk analysis technique, as HAZOP, LOPA, SIL,BOWTIE etc. to realize the integral risk identification and evaluation, grading and management plan making, supporting by the proprietary SINOPEC risk metrics and grading standards, as well as safety equipment reliability database,which is developed as the Process Safety Analysis and Management System for SINOPEC, to support all SINOPEC branches to make dynamic risk analysis and management online

The key data for HAZOP, SIL and Management module in PHAMS is the dependent protection barriers, which we do focusing on the failure probability, at the same time, we do use of the Bayesian Correction Modelling to verify the failure probability of safety equipent and protection barriers on site, which can validly save the grading cost on time and personnel, all of this is towards to the deeper research on dynamic risk analysis for PHAMS.

Thanks to the PHAMS, we has set up and implemented several standards on HAZOP, LOPA and SIL for SINOPEC.
