The 2019 FOODIE ASIA conference will feature a wide array of sustainability topics, with regard to the qualities and properties of food products, technology and methods for production and processing of food products, and will examine how to reduce the carbon, water and energy footprints. Some examples of topics within the sustainability field include: Smart farming technologies, Agrochemical encapsulation, Biological pest control, Post harvesting/production processing, Digitization, automation & robotics, Ingredient/nutrient production, Food Packaging, Value-adding innovations, Waste reduction & waste to energy, By-Product utilization, Food waste valorisation, and Sustainability assessment
