Atlanta Eastside Old and New Self-guided Walking Tour – Monday, June 9th @ 7:00pm

Enjoy a self-guided walking tour through Atlanta’s revitalized historic East side. Take a MARTA train or ride share to the Edgewood neighborhood, which has eclectic watering holes like the Georgia Beer Garden, Joystick, and Sister Louisa’s. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk through the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Preservation District to Krog Street Market, one of Atlanta’s first modern “food halls” with a laid-back atmosphere and many options for food and drink, including Superica, Gu’s Dumplings, and the Ticonderoga Club. Finish with an easy 30-minute stroll along the iconic Atlanta Beltline and end up at Ponce City Market. This architecturally impressive shopping mall in the historic Sears catalogue facility has something for everyone, from high-end shopping to fried chicken sandwiches. The surrounding neighborhood has plenty of late-night options, including The Local, Bookstore Pub, and the Clermont Rooftop.

This tour is fully self-guided, and groups are encouraged to meet in the Hyatt lobby at 7:00pm on Monday. Completing the full tour will require moving quickly though the neighborhoods, so you may want to start or end the tour at a different location since there are many possible stops in each. Note that conference organizers are not liable for any injuries, lost items, or other incidents that may occur during the tour. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should follow all local traffic and pedestrian laws.

Pi Mile “Fun Run” – Tuesday, June 10th @ 6:00am

As part of the conference's wellness activities, participants are invited to join a morning "Fun Run". Runners will start at the Hyatt Regency and run to the official starting point of the “Pi Mile” at the corner of North Ave and Techwood Drive. From there, the run will follow the historic "Pi Mile" 5K loop, offering a scenic tour of Georgia Tech's campus before returning to the Hyatt. This energizing event is a great way to enjoy the fresh morning air, meet fellow attendees, and get a taste of the campus before the day's sessions. All fitness levels are welcome!

Atlanta Dream WNBA Game – Tuesday, June 10th @ 7:30pm
