The presentation provides examples of the impact on technology by the market drive towards a new energy reality. Focus is on a sustainable future for both energy and chemical processes and BASF's own transition is used to illustrate the trends. In addition, the presentation shows how a modern approach to catalyst design and catalyst production enables the transition of these industries by allowing process design to make it's impact on the future operation of chemical plants, and new energy vectors will be addressed via concrete examples.
