2017 Symposium Keynote Address

We are delighted to announce that Ravi Gukathasan, CEO, Digital Specialty Chemicals (DSC), will be delivering the keynote address at this year's symposium.

 

The journey of Digital Specialty Chemicals (DSC) will be presented as the company transformed from a 2-person laboratory to a world class multi-national company over the course of 30 years.  The presentation will highlight the origins of DSC as a small volume manufacturer with a great passion for chemistry to multidisciplinary excellence delivering metric ton quantities across North America, Europe and Asia.  The talk will focus on building a deliberately developmental learning organization to overcome barriers between chemistry and engineering in the scale up of highly reactive compounds.  This will include a discussion of placing safety at the heart of organizational change and designing a company for growth.
