Raschig Jaeger Technologies: Superior Performance by Design

Raschig GmbH in Germany and Jaeger Products in the US have formed a few years ago a strong entity in the field of mass transfer business: “Raschig Jaeger Technologies”. This new force offers not only most effective structured and random packings and high efficient trays into the market but also competent engineering for grass root designs and troubleshoots/revamp cases.

Since more than 10 years Raschig Super-Ring^TM is known as the first 4^th generation random packing in the market. More than 3500 industrial grass root columns and revamp cases are available as a reference underlining the outstanding performance of this packing. Most recently Raschig Super-Rings were used with great success in mass transfer towers designed under remarkable conditions and against standard rule of thumbs. Samples will be presented.

More recently Raschig Super-Pak was introduced into the market based on excellent performance tests at FRI. Since than more sizes have been developed and tested. The paper will show the latest status of developments and will show industrial applications for this unique geometry. Also actual research activities will be illustrated.

To prove our distributor designs to customers Raschig Jaeger Technologies has recently upgraded it’s most modern liquid distributor test facility in Germany. Distributors up to 12 m in diameter can be tested. The presentation will show test conditions and samples.
