The New UFM Tray provides High Capacity AND Flexibility

Sulzer has developed a new type distillation tray that provides both high capacity and operational turndown.  In the past, for towers to gain additional capacity, the trade-off was to sacrifice turndown and also give up some tray efficiency.  Now with the advent of Sulzer's latest tray innovation, trayed distillation towers can realize the extra capacity of High Capacity trays without giving up operational flexibility or performance.  The UFM valve, which has been on the market for more than a year, has now demonstrated repeatedly in operating plants that it delivers on both claims.  Laboratory data, independent testing data and field operating data will be provided in this presentation to substantiate Sulzer's claims.
