Strong process research organizations and capabilities constitute very relevant competitive advantages in the chemical industry, enabling constant improvements for the existing plants (increased yields, safety, minimizing waste generation) as well as the development of new technologies to scale-up new molecules or to revolutionize the way a current product is produced. This presentation will address best practices and some of the common challenges of industrial process research, also covering case studies related to different scales and types of projects.
