The Future of Energy
With the world’s population poised for a significant growth over the next thirty years, the future challenges of economic growth globally are closely tied to the future of energy choices and their potential impact on climate change. Disruptive technologies in efficiency, transmission and sources will form the corner stone of future choices of energy. The current state of these technologies and the life-cycle analysis of their overall greenhouse gas impact provide valuable insight into pathways for an economically and environmentally sustainable future and are the basis of the discussion.
