Session Description:
This session will stress the importance of having “good” physical property and phase equilibria data and models for real-world refinery and chemical plant applications. The focus will be on: (a) best data methods and practices to use in modern process simulation, (b) applying practical experience to meet property and phase equilibria needs, (c) avoiding pitfalls in methods / data selection, (d) thinking “out-of-the-box” to design products and processes, (e) building awareness of available “state-of-the-art” data / methods resources.
Session Chairs:
- Damo Vedapuri, Tridiagonal Solutions, Inc.
- Peter DeJonge, Honeywell Unisim
- Trevor Rice, Chemstations
