Come hear experienced engineers in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC); chemical plant operations; and manufacturing industries discuss their experiences. This session will also feature a presentation on job interview tips aimed at helping students in their job search.

Keynote Address

Career Fair
The career fair will provide opportunities for students to interact with seasoned engineers and to explore career options.
Career Development Presentations
A panel of engineers and researchers from engineering, refining and chemical companies will be available to discuss and answer questions about what they do and their day-to-day challenges. After the panel, a seasoned hiring manager will provide interviewing tips to help you in landing that first work opportunity.
Mentoring Program
Seasoned engineers will be available to speak to students further about the various industry and career paths available post-graduation, and share their personal insights on career opportunities.
Meet the Industry Poster Reception and Happy Hour
Join us at our poster reception to hear from qualified graduate students on the progress of their work in SPTC’s eight core industrial areas. There will be light hors d’oeuvres and drinks provided.
Undergraduate Attendance Competition
The university with the most undergraduate students in attendance at SPTC 2019 will receive a $500 donation to the endowment of their choice.
