This session presents papers on the latest mechanical integrity concepts, practices and programs. All aspects of mechanical integrity are covered, including equipment inspection, interlock testing, reliability initiatives, and overall system design. An additional area of focus is on the challenges of meeting the needs of a global organization, including language & cultural barriers, widely varied national regulations and availability of qualified resources.

Julia V. Bukowski

Dr. Julia V. Bukowski is a systems engineer with over 30 years experience in reliability and safety modeling and analysis. She has authored over 50 technical papers in these areas. She is a key consultant to Systems Applications Associates, LLC, a consulting firm providing engineering support activities in the private, industrial, commercial, and governmental sectors. She has been a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently affiliated with Villanova University.Read more

F. Russ Davis

F. Russ Davis is a Senior Consultant, Process Safety with Aon Energy Risk Engineering. He is a Process Safety and Mechanical Integrity program consultant. Russ has extensive experience in risk evaluation and risk mitigation as well as in facilitating PHA's and LOPA's. He is a certified API 510 Pressure vessel, API 570 Piping, API 653 Above Ground Storage Tank, and an API 580 Risk Based inspector as well as a Certified Safety Professional.Read more

Peter Lodal

Peter Lodal is the Principal for D&H Process Safety of Kingsport TN.  He is a retired Technical Fellow of Eastman Chemical Company, having spent nearly 42  years with Eastman in various positions including process engineering,  process safety and loss prevention. Pete is the author or co-author of over 20 papers and publications, a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and a Fellow of the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS). Tim Overton

Tim Overton is the Chief Process Safety Engineer for the Dow Chemical Company. Tim received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas, and has nearly 30 years of experience in the chemical industry. Tim became actively involved in AIChE Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) in 2000, participating in numerous projects and workshops.
