Malware, ransomware, and cybersecurity related attacks against chemical and manufacturing companies are significantly on the rise. A good question to consider is â if an adversary wanted to gain access to a proprietary formula (for chemicals), or perhaps a manufacturing process, what defenses are in place to prevent that from happening, or alternatively detect that activity. Many companies are planning to place investments into cyber resiliency (risk mitigation) for the business in 2021 and beyond, but many are left wondering where to start? This session will provide an overview of key topics and considerations for non-security experts, so that companies are able to gain greater awareness when they are being targeted, and so they can enhance detection and improve overall preparedness for when bad things happen.
