Troubleshooting has always been more challenging than designing a process or equipment. Given guidelines and calculation procedures, engineers can design a process – however, troubleshooting charts or tables can rarely be comprehensive and anticipate all the failure modes. One must rely on fundamentals, experience, logic and troubleshooting skills to resolve the problem.

This article highlights troubleshooting concepts and techniques to solve challenging problems in the Pharmaceutical Industry, including examples and case studies.
