Due to its unique advantages, eductors have been used in many industries, such as pharmaceutical, chemical, and food. It has been widely applied in pneumatic conveying systems as a feeding device to create suction and enable dust-free operation. Understanding its basic mechanism is essential for properly selecting and installing the right eductor, and ensuring an efficient pneumatic conveying system. Here other eductor applications, such as venting, will also be investigated.
