Recent Developments in the Characterization of Pharmaceutical Materials II

Pharmaceutical product quality can be heavily influenced by the physical properties of the input materials (excipients and active ingredients) used during the manufacturing process. Thorough characterization of pharmaceutical materials can enable a link between physical properties, process performance and product quality attributes. In this session, papers addressing measurement and characterization, in-line, on-line and off-line of pharmaceutical materials are encouraged. Papers on novel approaches to measurement and instrumentation are also welcome. We also encourage case studies and investigations evaluating emerging technologies in the characterization of pharmaceutical materials.
