Submissions are invited on the fundamentals and applications of granular beds for solids separation from gases and liquids. This session covers such areas as hot gas cleaning in fluidized bed combustion and fluidized bed gasification or other gas cleaning operations that utilize packed, moving or fluidized granular beds as well as areas dealing with the removal of particulate material from water or other liquids by use of granular materials.
