FOSSI: Tell us a bit about yourself.
My name is SaMya Dolison. I come from a small town where the education system is tremendously different. Moving to Texas in 2014 was difficult for me when it came to academics. I experienced difficulty all the way up to my 11th grade year of school. Nevertheless, I participated in many programs. My mom was deployed, but because I am a benevolent, virtuous, and resilient young woman, I graduated on June 12th, 2021 as valedictorian of my high school class.
I believe that anything is possible if you have faith that you will succeed and become that person you said you would be.
FOSSI: Fast forward – where do you see yourself in ten years?
Ten years from now, I have faith that I will have my master's and bachelor's degree. I will be completing medical school and starting my 1st year of residency.
