Steve Goff is Vice President of Research & Development for Covanta Energy, where he is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to develop and commercialize new technologies for recovering energy and value from waste.
Mr. Goff joined Covanta in 2005 with the acquisition of American Ref-Fuel Company, where he had worked since the formation of the company in 1985, when he was with their original parent company, Air Products and Chemicals. Mr. Goff has over 30 years of industrial experience in Energy from Waste and other environmental and high-temperature process industries. He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University in 1982, and his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1987.
