Energy sustainability is very vital for industries and the environment and there has been a global increase in awareness of the benefits. It is broadly applied to fields like Pharmaceuticals, Metallurgy and majorly fields involving process operations, which consists of chemical conversion, production and generation of waste heat.

One of the major by-products of small or large-scale industries is waste heat and a number of equipment has been designed to convert a reasonable amount of this heat for other use through recycling. This project involves design of measures to recover waste heat from a Process Catalyst Technology plant exhaust and directing it for a more useful purpose in the plant. This therefore reduces the carbon-footprint and the use of non-renewable fossil fuel.
