Opening Comments and Update On Global Packaging

Global voluntary initiatives are emerging in advance or (or instead of) legislative/regulatory approaches to packaging.  This presentation will offer a short overview on the status of the Global Packaging Project, a project of the Consumer Goods Forum to establish a common, global approach to metrics and guidelines for sustainable packaging.  It will also update attendees on the development of ISO Packaging and the Environment Standards.
