Thanks to a generous grant from the United Engineering Foundation, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers will be putting on a series of 3 workshops in 2013. These workshops are on Industrial Water Use and Reuse, a joint workshop with AWMA on Municipal Water Reuse and Carbon Management’s Effect on Water Stress. You can learn more about each of the workshops at the links below. These workshops aim to address three major water challenges: water access, water quality and the water energy nexus. The workshop series extends to, as well as benefits, all engineering disciplines. Although the three workshops will address specific water challenges, they are all connected and will be used to develop a collaborative community of engineers defining solutions to the grand, global challenge of water.
