
EPA finds "unreasonable risk" for formaldehyde

The Environmental Protection Agency has determined that formaldehyde poses an "unreasonable risk" to people's health. The agency, which will consider regulations to protect employees and consumers, cited formaldehyde's widespread presence in products and its potential for causing cancer and other illnesses.
