Analysts from the companies Tudor, Pickering, Holt and Co.; Refined Fuels Analytics; and Lipow Oil Associates expect US refinery utilization to exceed 90% capacity for the rest of the quarter as fuel makers prepare for summer driving season demand. "From the profitability standpoint, it's setting up to be a pretty good summer here to see utilization still feel a little low as we head into the spring combined with continuing low product inventories," said Matthew Blair of Tudor, Pickering, Holt and Co.
