Zydus Lifesciences' Zituvimet XR, or sitagliptin and metformin hydrochloride, extended-release tablets were approved by the FDA to improve adult glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus together with diet and exercise. The tablets are sold in three strengths of sitagliptin and metformin.
