Session Description: Is it possible to create a circular economy for plastics? Has COVID completely derailed efforts towards this vision? Panelists will discuss the challenges and opportunities for circular packaging and provide insights into what is currently happening across design, collection and recovery/reprocessing and policy to advance this vision. Participants will leave with a deep understanding of the available resources to help with circular plastics packaging design, an in-depth analysis of recovery options and investment interest and a frank discussion on policy and program needs to ensure reuse. |
