Eclipse Model 705 guided-wave radar transmitter

The second-generation Eclipse Model 705 guided-wave radar transmitter features: an extended measuring range (support probe up to 75 ft); high-temperature and high-pressure interface measurement capability; and an integrated 20-point linearization/strapping table. The unit also offers waveform capture capability and full PACTware FDT/DTM support. The transmitter has a safe fractional failure rating, enabling installation in SIL 2 safety-rated systems as a one-for-one device.

BSP-135 and the BSP-150-P

New to the firm’s Bulk Solids Pump (BSP) feeder line are the BSP-135 and the BSP-150-P. The BSP-135 loss-in-weight feeders can be configured using a platform scale, three-point or one-point suspension weighing. The BSP-150-P can be configured as a loss-in-weight feeder using three-point suspension weighing. The feeders use positive-displacement action to feed free-flowing materials with high accuracy, offering uniform discharge, consistent volume and gentle handling. The BSP feeders have vertical rotating discs that create feeding ducts.

Model GDS-49 sensor transmitter

The Model GDS-49 sensor transmitter accepts toxic or oxygen electrochemical-sensor modules, and functions in a two-wire 4–20-mA “sink”mode to transmit gas values thousands of feet away to an appropriate receiving device. It overcomes noise immunity problems associated with electrochemical sensors by enclosing its plug-in sensor module in a rugged metallic enclosure. Approvals include CSA Div. 1 and 2 explosionproof and intrinsically safe (IS) with an approved IS barrier.

HPR Series Reactors

The HPR series reactors have been designed for researchers who are interested in performing pressurized chemical reactions in their laboratories — whether highpressure chemical synthesis or process development. The reactors range in size from 50 mL to 8 L, and may be operated up to 10,000 psi and 350°C. The reactors have a magnetically coupled impeller for optimal mixing. All high-pressure components are ASME-rated and protected by a rupture disc for safe operations.

Sanitary, Jacketed Rotary Batch Mixer

The model 700-TH-20-SSJ, sanitary, jacketed rotary batch mixer is designed with a stationary inlet and discharge, and a rotating drum with proprietary mixing flights that tumble, turn and fold material gently while achieving 100% uniformity in two to three minutes. Disparities in the bulk densities, particle sizes or flow characteristics of batch ingredients do not impair mixing, according to the company.

Chopper Hopper

The Chopper Hopper is a food products processor that combines solids reduction and transfer pumping into one efficient unit. It can reduce whole produce — papayas, corn or any other fruits or vegetables — into an easy-to-handle slurry. The single compact package provides high throughput, large surge capacity and multiple stages of grinding for coarse, medium and even fine slurries. The Chopper Hopper features a rugged progressing cavity pump with proprietary gear joint design.

HemiPleat filter

Compared to standard dustcollector cartridge filters, the HemiPleat filter typically doubles the life at half the pressure drop, according to the manufacturer. The key to the filter’s performance is a patent-pending pleating technology that has never before been used in the manufacture of a cylindrical dust collection filter. An innovative media pack design holds the pleats of the cartridge open, making virtually all the media surface available for filtration. The wide, uniform spacing results in lower pressure drop for more efficient performance.

Roetelmann

Conventional ball valves utilize elastomeric or mechanical stem seals to contain the transmitted medium. If these seals fail, the medium escapes to the environment. This is a grave concern if the medium is a potential environmental pollutant or health hazard. The Roetelmann design eliminates this potential by encapsulating the stem and seals in a welded canister, should the seals fail the medium cannot escape to the atmosphere. Previous designs were unable to provide an indication that the internal ball had rotated to the desired open or closed position when the valve was actuated.

TS4000 Toxic Gas Monitoring System

The advanced TS4000 Toxic Gas Monitoring System combines a highly intelligent microprocessor-based design with exceptionally reliable and rugged electrochemical sensors in an explosion-proof housing. The intrinsically-safe design of its interface module supports sensor field replacement without the need for special tools or hot work permits. Other features include longdistance remote mounting up to 2,000 ft, dual redundant MODBUS communications, 8-A relays, three-digit display, 4–20-mA output, and indication of remaining sensor life.

DeltaFlow 2.0 System

The DeltaFlow 2.0 system produces ultrapure water without the use of hazardous ion exchange regeneration chemicals by employing three membrane separation technologies — reverse osmosis (RO), GTM membrane degasification unit and electrodeionization (EDI). The system features a new GTM module design with larger, more-efficient contactors that can be configured to produce water containing less than 5 ppb dissolved oxygen.
