AST4900 pressure sensor

The AST4900 is a competitively priced, high-quality pressure sensor suitable for measuring gases and liquids in high-purity applications. These stainless steel sensors are free of oil-fill, welds and internal O-rings, which eliminates the risk of system contamination in extreme conditions. The sensors are available with two standard fittings: 0.25-in. NPT male and 0.25-in. VCR male. Each sensing element is machined from 316L stainless steel and is electropolished to remove contaminants.

Oxystreamer O2 and CO2 gas controller

The Oxystreamer O2 and CO2 gas controller has a closed-loop dynamic gas control system and maintains mixed gas concentration to within 0.2% of selected setpoint levels. Ranges covered include O2 concentrations from 0.1% to 99.9%, CO2 concentrations from 0.1% to 20.0% and N2 concentrations from 0% to 100%. The two output streams of this system are suitable for controlling dissolved O2 and CO2 levels in a media or perfusate. The Oxystreamer eliminates the inflexibility and high cost of premixed gas, and inaccuracies due to gas stratification in premixed cylinders.

Model 5000 Wet/Wet Differential Pressure Sensor

When installed within a water filtration system, the Model 5000 Wet/Wet Differential Pressure Sensor is designed to detect the difference between the upstream pressure driving water through the filter and the downstream pressure. After reading a significant drop in pressure, the sensor can notify the system that the filter is clogged or needs replacing. In addition to featuring highly accurate differential pressure output, the Model 5000 is constructed of type 316L stainless steel wetted materials that resist hydrogen embrittlement to ensure the highest reliability in a variety of media.

Series 70CV3000 Chloromatic 3000 gas-flow control valve

The Series 70CV3000 Chloromatic 3000 gas-flow control valve is a wall-mounted system designed for automatic control of chemical feed in water or wastewater applications. The integrated, microprocessor-based controller has a control valve that responds to multiple process signals from a water flow transmitter or chlorine residual analyzer. The Chloromatic 3000 eliminates the need for continuous operator monitoring and manual adjustment of the gas feed rate resulting from changes in flow and/or residual levels.

7100 photometer

A replacement for this instrument maker’s 5000 photometer, the 7100 enables advanced instrumental analysis of an extensive range of water tests. Portable and waterproof, the photometer uses light to measure color changes in water samples treated with a reagent. It is accurate to ±0.005 at 0.3 absorbency units (au) and resolution is 0.001au, avoiding the inaccurate results that a comparator color chart may give due to variations in operator eyesight or lighting conditions.

Liqui-Flux ultrafiltration module

The new Liqui-Flux ultrafiltration module has a total membrane area of 75 m2. The pressure-driven module is said to be one of the largest ultrafiltration modules of its kind. The large surface area within the membrane bundle structure allows individual modules to have a smaller system footprint and lower capital costs than other systems with comparable throughput. At the heart of the Liqui-Flux module is the company’s UltraPES polyethersulfone hollow-fiber membrane. The membrane has a distinct three-layer structure to ensure maximum permeability and reliability.

Air-Miser MSP-AM Series multi-stage venturi vacuum pumps

Air-Miser MSP-AM Series multi-stage venturi vacuum pumps use low air pressure yet provide performance comparable to that of a higher-pressure system. Because of their internal design, they require only 45 psi (3.1 bar) of air pressure, which is about half of what is needed in conventional venturi-style vacuum pumps. They are made from anodized aluminum with brass nozzles, and models are available to handle process flowrates of 0.06–0.64 standard ft3/min. They measure 3.78 in. long by 1.26 in. wide by 0.98 in. high, and include a 2.76-in. tall by 1.0-wide muffler.

Variable-Volume Pipettes

A tapered cone design allows these variable-volume pipettes to use tips from many different manufacturers. The pipettes are available in six sizes: 0.5–10 µL, 2–20 µL, 10–100 µL, 20–200 µL, 100–1,000 µL and 1–5 mL. Volume is adjusted by turning a button. A large display window makes it easy for the user to select the correct volume, and reduces the risk of accidental volume changes during pipetting. An ergonomic design that requires low plunger force offers protection against repetitive stress injuries. The pipettes can be sterilized in an autoclave to prevent cross-contamination.

Asia syringe pump

Made from chemically resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and glass, the Asia syringe pump is rated to 20 bar (300 psi). This compact (23-cm wide) module offers two independent continuous-flow channels, each with an integrated pressure sensor and a flowrate range of 1.0 µL to 10 mL/min. Replacement of component valves, syringes or pressure sensors is quick and easy, requiring no tools. Flowrate and volume can be controlled using the intuitive front panel, or by means of the Asia PC software.

SaniQuip sanitary mixer

The SaniQuip sanitary mixer is suitable for sanitary, pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, and food applications. Its lightweight motor provides continuous speed control, with power ratings for various models ranging from less than 1 hp to 5 hp with constant torque, and variable speeds between 100 and 2,000 rpm. The mixer features an integral digital tachometer and a high-polish finish on in-tank wetted parts. Its design is a compact open pedestal, and has integral tri-clamp tank mounting. The mixer can be used in tank volumes from 50 L to 20,000 L.
