Charles A. Soczek

Charles Soczek has extensive manufacturing experience in DuPont, with emphasis on the safe manufacture, storage, transportation, and use of highly hazardous materials. In recent years, he has worked with DuPont clients in North and South America, the Middle East, Africa, India, Australia, China, and Europe on risk-improvement for manufacturing operations and capital projects. The focus industries include oil and gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, mineral and mining, and heavy and light metals. His principal work has been on the development and successful implementation of SHE Management Systems and Process Safety Management at the corporate level, business level, and manufacturing sites. This, in his view, is the challenging and most satisfactory part of the job because of the requirement to integrate his experiences in developing and implementing DuPont processes and practices into diverse industries and cultures.
