Jeff Weinfeld

Jeff obtained a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester in 2016 and a PhD in chemical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020. In graduate school, Jeff used modeling and experimentation to study reactive dividing wall distillation columns with the goal of assisting commercial evaluation of the technology. Since then, he has worked as a Development Engineer at Optimized Gas Treating, Inc., located in the Austin, Texas area. In this role, Jeff develops, implements, and tests advanced mass-transfer based process models for the ProTreat® gas treating process simulator.
