Patti Jones

Patti Jones is a Sr. Global Process Safety Manager who works with Praxair, Inc. air separation capital projects teams to deliver world-class results and continuous improvement. Patti believes that employee participation is the foundation for preventing harm and successfully implementing the elements of process safety, looking beyond compliance to foster employee engagement. She has successfully led several international teams to carry out continuous improvement projects taking advantage of this opportunity to learn from different cultures, bringing forth their best practices and suggestions. Patti joined Praxair, Inc. in 1996 in the capital projects engineering organization. Her experience enables her to look across a broad spectrum, from the project proposal up to and including plant startup. This allows her to understand the necessary protective barriers at various stages of a project. Patti is a qualified PHA, LOPA and RCA facilitator, leads a knowledge-based process safety community of practice, and manages internal audits.
