Ravi Ramaswamy

Mr Ramasamy Ravi is a B.Tech(Chemical engineering) graduate of 1980 batch from Madras University and M.S (Engineering Management) from BITS, Pilani,India. He is presently serving as Senior Vice President (PSM) at Reliance Industries Limited. He served in various capacities in operation of Ammonia / Urea plants, Process Engineering and Project Management at M/s SPIC. He joined RIL , Hazira in 1996 and worked in pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation of Aromatics unit. He completed MDP from IIM Bangalore and was assigned Planning & Coordination function in Executive Director's office. He attended AOTS training in Japan and spearheaded the TQM /Six Sigma initiatives.From 2006 to 2009 he looked after Energy Conservation/CDM initiatives. Presently he is functioning as PSM Competency leader at Centre for HSE Excellence,RIL Group Manufacturing Services.In this capacity he is leading and supporting the PSM efforts at all the manufacturing sites of RIL.He is a member of CCPS TAC.
