Mr. Waldrop has been practicing in the Process Safety Management and Occupational Safety Management disciplines for the past 30 years. He worked in the process industries for 20 years with Lyodell-Basell, Total Petrochemicals and Sunoco in various management positions, before going to work for AIG as a Senior Account Manager for Loss Control Engineering. He currently serves as the Global Oil and Petrochemical Process Safety Specialist for AIG Technical Hazards Group. Mr. Waldrop has been a long time member of both AIChE and ASSE, where he has served in a variety of committee positions and project teams through the years. In addition, Mr. Waldrop served 20 years in the Army National Guard before retiring at the rank of Captain in 2003.
