Roadmapping Workshop #2: Current and Future Industry Needs for Technician and Operator Training
December 15, 2022 | MAGNET’s New Headquarters, Cleveland, OH, USA
RAPID is working to transform the future of Virtual Technician and Operator Training in the Fine & Specialty Chemical Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, and Biopharmaceutical Industry following the disruption caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic by developing a robust virtual training program. Supported by an award from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RAPID will start the effort by running 3 workshops to:
- Help identify existing programs and best practices (took place on October 18, 2022),
- Help identify current and future skills needed (took place on December 15, 2022), and
- Prioritize training development to fill any current or future gaps identified (Scheduled for January 31, 2023).
RAPID is looking to engage personnel with responsibility for training and/or overseeing technicians and operators in the industries mentioned above to help guide the conversation. Registration is FREE and travel stipends (up to $500) are available to qualifying registrants.
Benefits
- Join a discussion with other leaders of technician and operator teams to share experiences and challenges
- Highlight skills necessary to prepare technicians and operators for the future of manufacturing
- Receive a number of complimentary seats to the training, once developed, for your company to thank you for your input and engagement
- Put the COVID Relief Funding to good use in supporting Manufacturing needs
Value of RAPID’s leadership in this space
Since inception in 2017, RAPID has brought together various stakeholders to solve difficult industrial problems using a demonstrated process to roadmap and develop virtual learning content which in turn becomes impactful virtual training courses. These courses, once developed, will allow current and future workers to upskill quickly – even in the event of a future lockdown. We look forward to your engagement and support of these efforts!
