NSF Grant Application

Funding is available for the 4th International Conference on CRISPR Technologies, the 5th International Conference on Epigenetics and Bioengineering (EpiBio), the Enterprise and Infrastructure Resilience Workshop, the 3rd AfroBiotech Conference, the 4th International Conference on Microbiome Engineering (ICME), and the 2nd Optogenetic Technologies and Applications Conference

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers is proud to announce several funding opportunities from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to partially support students and post-doc attendance to several upcoming conferences. We encourage you to submit a quality abstract of your research (Poster or Oral) prior to applying for support, however, you may apply without submitting an abstract. Additionally, please provide a short justification regarding your merits and reasons to receive support. The resulting survey will be reviewed by a selecting committee. All data collected will remain confidential.

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers encourages diversity of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other minorities and the selection committee will use this survey to ensure fair representation. We encourage students from non-RI institutions to apply.

Please note affiliation with a US university is required for eligibility.
Please check "Yes" if you have been diagnosed with a disability
Please provide a short justification (under 250 words) about why you wish to receive this support. We are actively encouraging students from institutions that do not typically have as many opportunities to attend research conferences (i.e. non-R1) as well as under-represented groups in Bioengineering and Biology. Registration will be fully covered for these applicants.
