Dr. Hamieh received his Ph.D. from Rouen University in France. Currently, he is a research associate in Dr. Michel Sadelain lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. His work focuses on understanding the dynamics of CAR T cell anti-tumor response. Recently, he described a new mechanism of antigen escape from CAR T cell therapy where T cells reduce target antigen density on tumor cells and T-cell activity via trogocytosis.
