Yinan Kan

Yinan Kan is the Principle Scientist in the eGenesis gene editing team. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2015 in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics in the University of Minnesota with a research focus of dissecting the DNA repair pathways underlying homology-directed genome editing. He conducted postdoc research at Harvard Medical School before joining eGenesis Inc. He is devoted to developing novel technological platforms for multiplexed, precision and long-range genome editing with the aim of delivering safe and effective human transplantable organs from genome modified pigs.
