Plenary 1 will be presented by Professor Paul Freemont. He is head of the new Section of Structural Biology in the Department of Medicine at Imperial College. He is also co-founder and co-director of the EPSRC Centre for Synthetic Biology and Innovation and the National UK Innovation and Knowledge Centre for Synthetic Biology at Imperial College London.
