Synthetic Chromatin Biology

Our Group Is Interested in the Complex Gene Regulatory Behaviors That Are Encoded By the Epigenome and Chromatin Systems. We Will Discuss Our Ongoing Work to Understand Chromatin-Mediated Mechanisms Conferring Gene Expression Memory, Genetic Imprinting, and Dynamic Signal Processing. Our Approaches Include Develop Molecular Approaches to Interface with and Perturb the Epigenome of Cells, and Their Applications to Understand Disease Mechanisms, Particularly in Neural Systems
