Enhancing Efficiency and Control for a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Process

Significant advances in the cell line and process technology have helped achieve high titer processes for therapeutic proteins. Downstream processing has also kept pace in enabling high recovery and purity of the proteins. These high yield processes however pose a challenge for maintaining process control.

This presentation will cover technology developed to better understand and control processes so as to obtain consistent product quality. Techniques developed for screening raw materials, on line probes and other PAT tools will be presented.
