Rapid Prototyping of Genetic Programs

We develop rapid-prototyping techniques to address challenges that arise in designing and tuning complex biological systems.  In part, these techniques entail constructing and testing large libraries of genetic designs, and then analyzing their performance to inform subsequent design choices. The scale of these approaches places new demands on library design, DNA assembly, and analysis.  This talk will describe work we are undertaking to address these demands, and will provide examples of how such efforts provide actionable design feedback and increase prototyping efficiency.
