Vmax™ – a Novel Microbial Host for the Biotech Industry

This presentation will focus on Vmaxâ„¢, a high performing bacterium being developed at Synthetic Genomics, Inc. as a next-generation host organism for biotechnology and molecular biology applications¹. We will describe the current state of the platform, and will discuss how technology and genome design principles developed over the course of the minimal cell project² are being applied to engineer advanced Vmaxâ„¢ strains.
