This presentation will focus on Vmaxâ¢, a high performing bacterium being developed at Synthetic Genomics, Inc. as a next-generation host organism for biotechnology and molecular biology applications1. We will describe the current state of the platform, and will discuss how technology and genome design principles developed over the course of the minimal cell project2 are being applied to engineer advanced Vmax⢠strains.
