Mo Hossain

Mo Hossain is a member of Ennovance Group’s Investment Committee and is the founding Managing Partner of Ennovance Capital. Mr. Hossain leads investments across various classes of alternative assets ranging from hedge fund allocations to private equity investments.  Mr. Hossain has a longstanding expertise in innovative thematic approaches to portfolio construction of alternative assets—both liquid and illiquid investments, with a particular interest in mid-cap deep value buyouts and buy & build investment strategies in chemicals, healthcare and materials technology related sectors. He is very active in philanthropic causes, promoting education for communities in need, bottom-up social entrepreneurship, and micro-economic programs. Mr. Hossain is a current and former member of the Board of numerous funds and private companies, as well as several non-profit organizations. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hossain was an engineer in the energy and water sectors and then held a number of executive leadership positions of increasing responsibility spanning over a decade with multinational specialty chemical companies including Rohm & Haas, Nalco/Exxon, etc.  Mr. Hossain holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University and an MBA magna cum laude from the University of Houston. He lives in Philadelphia and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
