This session invites all contributions in the field of polymeric and composite materials whose focus is sustainability, bio-inspiration, or emerging applications. Submissions focused on processing, characterization as well as property analysis of polymeric and composite materials are all welcome. This includes but is not limited to natural or bio-based composite materials, composite materials that advance the state of the art in green energy and sustainable processing and manufacturing, as well as composite materials that address issues central to environmental applications such as water treatment, remediation, and other complex issues surrounding the food/water/energy nexus.
