Large Language Models have transformed the way we learn profoundly. Data analytics plays a pivotal role for the sustainable growth of chemical industry. With years of experience teaching data analysis to senior Chemical Engineering students, the presenter will report the journey of various educational approaches, from spreadsheets to AI-assisted data analysis, by evaluating students' performance on open-ended, real-world projects. The presentation will consider the advantages and challenges presented by each method, aiming to provide insights into how LLMs are reshaping the future of data analysis education in Chemical Engineering.
