Additionally, current and newly developed (e.g., PAUT of tube-to-tube sheet weld) inspection techniques associated with transfer line exchangers to minimize in-service failures. Also, failures related to aluminum cold box cores due to thermal stresses coupled with internal pressure stresses from the process system and low-temperature brittle fracture updates to discuss the significant inconsistencies and inadequacies that exist in the current brittle fracture screening procedures.
