Thomas Garza

Thomas Garza, P.E. Thomas (Tom) Garza, P.E., currently serves as the Fixed Equipment Engineering Manager, for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, LP. He has worked for Chevron Phillips in numerous areas since 2000. He provides mechanical engineering and mechanical integrity technical expertise to improve process safety and reliability of fixed equipment, ethylene furnaces and associated equipment for domestic and international facilities. He has over 30 years’ experience with detailed design, engineering and inspection of ethylene furnaces, steam boilers, incinerators, flares, and associated equipment such TLES, burners, etc. Tom graduated from the University of Houston with a BS in Mechanical Engineering (1997), a register PE in the state of Texas (2001). He also, hold numerous API certifications such as API-510, API-570, API-580, API-936, etc.
