Climate change due to carbon emissions is by far the biggest challenge that poses an existential threat to life on earth. Broad range of technology developments and deployments are needed in carbon reduction technologies to stay in line with 1.5 deg C target set out by the 2015 Paris Climate Accord. This session covers presentations from industry and academia on advanced carbon reduction technologies such as bio and low-carbon fuels, carbon capture and storage, sustainable aviation fuel, hydrogen etc., with topics in research, development, scale-up and commercial deployments.
