When heat exchangers are heavily fouled, they need to be taken off-line and cleaned. However, choosing the right method for cleaning (e.g. mechanical, chemical, thermal, ultrasound) is not a simple task. This Session is dedicated to cleaning technologies and improved maintenance practices and will be exploring key aspects in heat exchanger cleaning via the traditional hydro-blasting methodology and alternative to technologies that enable faster, better and cheaper cleaning.
