Bert retired in 2014 after a 40+ year career as a DuPont Engineering Fellow with expertise in reaction engineering, thermochemistry and population balance modeling. Prior to his retirement, he also held an appointment as Adjunct Professor in the University of Delaware’s Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, and now has been appointed Professor of Practice there where he co-directs the new professional Master of Engineering in Particle Technology (MEPT) program.
